Has Tiger’s Brand Taken a Hit? Part Deux

Not so fast there Shark;  we last blogged at this site about Tiger Woods’ seeming indestructibility as a brand, even in the wake of his multiple transgressions.  Well, its seems some of those corporate sponsors are rethinking their loyalty. Tiger\’s Sponsors Rethinking Loyalty Apparently, several sponsors have already taken steps to disassociate themselves (at least temporarily) with Tiger by removing ads from websites, and cancelling commercials etc.  The question I have is can the brand be rebuilt?  There have been success stories of businesses reconfiguring their looks to attract clients, but what about individuals?  Eliot Spitzer, for one, is making concerted effort to get back in the mix following his own plunge from piety several years ago and is now even considering another run for public office.  Spitzer\’s Run for Office Whether or not the public will be so forgiving is still to be seen.
